(KTVI) – A big award is going to a little leaguer.  The breakout pitching star of this year’s Little League World Series, Mo’ne Davis, will be among those honored at the Musial Awards next month.

The 13-year-old from Philadelphia will be recognized for her poise, maturity and sportsmanship.  She’s in good company: baseball Hall of Famer Joe Torre will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The ceremony will be held at the Peabody Opera House in November.
