ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Three witnesses come to the aid of a hit-and-run crash victim. One of those good Samaritans even started taking photos of the suspects as they took off on foot.

The accident happened down the street from the Botanical Garden near the intersection of Vandventer and Shaw at around 5:15pm Wednesday. A 28 year old woman says she was hit from behind and the driver and his passneger fled the scene. One witness started taking pictures.

"The car behind me did not stop they ran into me at 50 miles per hour." said crash victim Dionne Joffray.

The damages to Joffray`s car don`t look dramatic. Still, the damage total is close to $2,500. Plus, she has  medical bills because she suffered whiplash.

Nellie Studt was in her car nearby and saw the whole thing, including the suspects running away. So, she began taking these pictures of them.

"I said that was just awful I started taking their pictures as they were running away from me." said Nellie Studt.

Dionne put the suspect`s photos on her Facebook page hopeful that someone knows the two young men and will call police.

"Everybody is so  connected especially in St. Louis everybody knows everybody." said Joffray.

Two other witnesses also helped staying with Dionne and telling police what they saw. But, there are no reports of any arrests.
