EDWARDSVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Madison County officials have identified the man killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
John Kent Gelarden was riding a motorcycle when he apparently ran in to the back of a grain truck on Saturday.
He was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital in Highland where he was pronounced dead. Gerlarden was a police dispatcher for the city of Madison.
He was 51 years old.
