MOLINE ACRES, Mo. – Authorities say a man who was found with a slain cab driver’s missing cab has been charged in the killing.  Antouine Redmon, 40, is charged with one count of first degree murder and armed criminal action. He is being held without a bond.

Police began investigating early Thursday after finding 47-year-old Richard Lilie Jr. dead in an unincorporated part of north St. Louis County. St. Louis County Police Sgt. Benjamin Granda says the longtime driver appeared to have been shot at least once.

Taxicab Commissioner Ron Klein says the driver received a call for a ride and picked up a passenger at an apartment complex. His body was dumped in the Castle Point area about a block away from where he picked up his customer.

Another area cab driver was slain in June 2018 in St. Louis.
