Midland County, MI (WNEM) — A Midland County man has asked sheriff’s deputies to come out to confirm the existence of a Bigfoot living on his land.
According to a media log email from the Midland County Sheriff’s department, the Lee Township man, 52, showed up to the Midland Law Enforcement Center over the weekend. The Midland Daily News reports that the man showed authorities trash bags full of “evidence” and a photo book showing how one of the creatures is living on his West Pine River Road property.
According to the Midland Daily News, the man told deputies that during the time he’s lived at the property, he’s found broken tree branches, rocks out of place and dead unearthed animals.
The man also said when he first ran into the creature, he thought it was a man in a “ghillie” suit.
It’s unknown if the sheriff’s department will investigate the claims. A caller to WNEM TV5 stated that a Bigfoot hunter is en route to the man’s address to probe the area.
