ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– A man is dead after a car accident in South County.
Al Nothum with the Missouri Highway Patrol says at approximately noon Monday a car traveling south on Interstate 55 ramp to eastbound Interstate 255 collided with a guardrail and went into a ravine.
Hours later, at around 5:3pm, the car in the ravine was reported to police.
The driver of the car had died.
The driver of the car is identified as 68-year-old Ronald Aboussie of St. Louis, Mo.
The highway patrol is investigating the crash and the cause of death.
