Man shot at gas station on Natural Bridge

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police responded to an overnight shooting at a gas station in north St. Louis.

According to a police spokesperson, the shooting occurred just before midnight Monday at the Gulf gas station in the 5700 block of Natural Bridge Road.

Police found the 29-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower extremities and wrist. The victim told police he was standing in the parking lot when the suspect opened fire, forcing him to take cover inside the store.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where was listed in stable condition.

Police described the victim as an African-American man wearing dark-colored pants and a black coat over a yellow-hooded sweatshirt.
