WATERLOO, IL (KTVI) - A Waterloo resident with cerebral palsy inspires politicians, residents and local organizations to build a fishing pier for the handicapped.

Christophe Douglas has cerebral palsy and he really loves to fish.

But for Christopher fishing isn’t easy using a wheelchair.

But thanks to the mayor of Waterloo, the Odd Fellows Lodge, State Rep. Jerry Costello and others, Christopher now has a fishing pier to use when he goes fishing.
