Man, woman found shot to death at home in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Two people were found dead inside of a south St. Louis home Friday morning. The shooting occured at a home located on Chippewa Avenue east of Kingshighway Boulevard. Police say both victims were found shot to death. Authorities say officers originally responded to the home for an assault call around 12:20a.m. When they arrived, they found the two bodies inside.

Police have not released any names. At this point, they are identifying the bodies only as a male and female. Both are white and in their early to mid 50`s.

Right now, authorities have not released any details surrounding the relationship between the two. Homicide detectives have been called in to handle the investigation.

However, police tell us they are not looking for any suspects in connection this case.
