ST. LOUIS (KTVI) -Saturday was a beautiful day for a walk in Forest Park, and that’s what thousands of St. Louisans did, getting out for the annual March for Babies, a walk to benefit March of Dimes. Thousands walked the two and a half miles around Forest Park in support of March of Dimes' fight for healthy, stronger babies.

The walk raised more than $200,000 to help end premature births, birth defects, and infant mortality.

FOX2’s Margie Ellisor was the walk's emcee Saturday.
