(KTVI) -Today is September 11th and there are several events planned in St. Louis to mark the anniversary of the terrorist attacks. 

There’s the “March to the Arch” which kicks off at 9:11 a.m. at Mike Duffy’s Pub and Grill at Highway 141 and Clayton Road. 

Event organizer Bo Drochelman will lead participants on a 21-mile walk from there to the Arch.  You can take part in the entire walk or join in anywhere along the route.  Get more information here.

— Saint Louis University will hold  a 9-11 Memorial and prayer service at 8 p.m. at the Lipic Clock Tower Plaza. The event will honor “Everyday Heroes”, like police, firefighters and EMT’s who continue to serve and protect. 

— There is a memorial service planned at 8:15 a.m. at the Arnold Recreation Center’s 9-11 Memorial Garden.  That service will be followed by a free breakfast for first responders. 

— At 8:30 a.m., O’Fallon, MO will hold a “Tribute to First Responders” outside the police department. The event will include a moment of silence for the victims of 9-11 and a playing of “TAPS”.
