(KTVI) – There’s more bad news for Megabus. A  brand new double-decker bus caught fire on a trip from Atlanta, Georgia to Charlotte, North Carolina. The fuel tank exploded and a tire blew out near the Georgia-South Carolina border.

The diver and nearly 80 passengers got out safely.  It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Megabus.  On Tuesday, a Megabus hit and killed a pedestrian in Chicago.  Last week, one woman died and dozens were injured when a Megabus blew a tire and hit an overpass support on Interstate 55 near Litchfield, IL.
