ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Caroline Lollis experienced a loss no parent should – she had to bury her own son.

Gregory Jordan, a father of two, was gunned down one year ago by his so-called friend, Benjamin Chatman, over a dispute over $50.

Chatman disappeared and Carolyn and her family turned to Metro’s Most Wanted to find him. Last month, she got some good news.

“Praise the Lord Chapman got caught. Thanks to you guys. And I really appreciate it,” Lollis said.

Chatman was hiding in New York. Police were tipped off to where he was. Now, Chatman’s behind bars; charged with first-degree murder and held on a million-dollar, cash-only bond.

Carolyn said she never lost hope that her son’s killer would be caught.

“I’m glad that he’s caught, it just doesn’t bring back my son, but I’m glad that they got him,” she said.
