CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) – Protesters gathered in front of the Buzz Westfall Justice Center in downtown Clayton on Saturday to demand the arrest of Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown on August 9, 2014.
The National Action Network organized the vigil and march, which began at 12:30pm. The parents of of Michael Brown, Michael Brown Sr. and Lesley McSpadden attended the event.
The protesters are planning to attend Tuesday night’s County Council meeting in Clayton to voice their frustration over the investigation and treatment during the highway shutdowns. The meeting starts at 6:00pm.
