Mike Tyson gives Evander Holyfield his ear back in viral ad

(KTVI) – An ad for Footlocker featuring Mike Tyson has gone viral. The video now has over a million views on YouTube.  The concept is a “Week of Greatness.”  The advertisement features sports celebrities like Brett Farve, Dennis Rodman and Mike Tyson righting wrongs.

The controversial part: Mike Tyson gives Evander Holyfield’s ear back to him.  Tyson bit part of  Holyfield’s ear off in a heavyweight fight in 1996. Holyfield won the fight but lost an ear in an upset victory.

The shoe retailer posted the video to YouTube with the following caption, “Foot Locker brings back Kyrie Irving for the Week Of Greatness, a week of the most premium shoe releases that can right all the world’s wrongs. See Mike Tysonand Evander Holyfield hug it out, Dennis Rodman fly to North Korea, Brett Favre finally walk away, and Craig Sager decide to change his wardrobe. If it’s at Foot Locker, it’s Approved. #weekofgreatness”
