Missing woman last seen on Highway U in Carter County

ELLINGTON, MO (KTVI) – Police are looking for a 66-year-old woman who went missing around noon on Wednesday.  Dorothy Brooks had a doctor’s appointment in Poplar Bluff.  She left her home, then rescheduled the appointment, and drove away.  She was last seen on Highway U in Carter County.

Brooks is described as a Caucasian woman about 5’4″ tall and weighing 150lbs.  She has grey hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a green and white striped shirt,  blue jeans and tennis shoes with green laces.

Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the Reynolds County Sheriff’s Department at:  573-648-2491.
