ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - One million lights are set to light up the Missouri Botanical Garden turned Winter Wonderland in this year's third annual Garden Glow. The family-friendly event opens its gates to the public in just a matter of days for its first weekend of the season.

Preparations began back in September as nearly 30 installations have been placed on the exhibit. Guests will once again enjoy twinkle lights scattered throughout popular garden locations, interactive photo opportunities, & music. Winter-themed concessions will also be available including s'mores stations. And new this year is a Family Fun Center along the Glow Path that includes Reindeer Ring Toss and Glowmen Glen which features snowmen cut outs for family photos. Family Wednesdays provide discounted rates for children during first four Wednesdays of Garden Glow.

The Garden encourages guests to purchase tickets prior to visiting as Garden Glow is a capacity-controlled event that is date/time specific. Garden Glow occurs on select evenings beginning November 21 and running through January 2.
