(KTVI) – FOX 2’s political commentator John Hancock has a new outlook on life after the right wingers left side went numb at his favorite restaurant.

He didn’t know it at the time but the 56-year-old was having a stroke.  Likely the result of a sedentary lifestyle and bad eating habits…

He was rushed to Missouri Baptist hospital and given a TPA shot to thin a clot in his brain.  Under the care of the Midwest Stroke Consortium, he made a full recovery and some big changes.

The turnaround has turned the head of his pundit partner who may not follow his politics but now follows his practices of good health.

Hancock is now reaching across the aisle on the issue of stroke prevention.  Hoping his story will inspire everyone to live a healthier lifestyle.
