ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Good news for the Normandy School District which is facing serious financial problems.
The Missouri House approved spending $5 million dollars to keep the Normandy District open for the rest of this school year. Without the money, district officials said they would run of money by April and Normandy students would be sent to other districts.
A spokesperson for the Missouri House says state representatives must vote on the bill again before it goes to the State Senate.
