ST. LOUIS – A man was shot and killed in a double shooting Monday night in north St. Louis City.

According to reports, this happened around 5:00 p.m. on Union Boulevard and West Florissant Avenue, where police said a man in his 20s was killed.

Investigators told us another man also in his 20s suffered a graze wound to his left arm. His injuries were not life-threatening. Officers shared that a suspect is in custody and is the shooter. There is no indication that the two latest murders are connected.

There have now been at least 174 murders so far this year in the city of St. Louis. At this point last year, police shared there were 175.
