ST. LOUIS – Project Griffin, the first commercial electric truck to complete a cross country trip powered by solar energy, visited the St. Louis Science Center Sunday.

The 100-percent solar-powered vehicle was customized by Awaken Solar, an Idaho based company providing nationwide education on solar energy.

The truck completed its trip from California to Florida and is now on its way back to Idaho.
