Humane Society of Missouri’s disaster response team is headed to New Orleans

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Louisiana will receive more help from Missouri volunteers today. The Humane Society of Missouri’s disaster response team is headed to New Orleans. They are expected to be there for about 10 days.

Members of the team will help with the local rescue efforts of local animal welfare organizations. The Humane Society is also prepared to transport some animals back to its St. Louis shelters if necessary due to space and supply limitations in Louisiana.
