JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – Investigators in Jefferson County have identified the human remains found last week near Pevely by a morel mushroom hunter.
Police said they belong to 64-year-old Joan Giudicy of Pevely. She had been missing since last December.
Officers shared that her death remains suspicious, and the investigation is still active. FOX 2 will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
