ST. LOUIS – The lights are coming back on tonight at the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis.
The National Park Service turned off the lights on May 1. That’s to avoid disorienting birds during the peak of migration season.
Birds are heading north for the spring. They also do the same thing in the fall as the birds fly south for the winter.
