Man struck, killed by train in south St. Louis Wednesday night

ST. LOUIS – A man was struck and killed by a train Wednesday night in south St. Louis.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m. in the Bevo neighborhood, according to police. The man was on the tracks at Gravois Avenue at Bingham Avenue.

89 passengers and crew were aboard the train, but none of them were hurt. The train was delayed 5.5 five hours before it was allowed to continue on to its destination.
