ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Workers at the Starbucks on Page and Ball in Maryland Heights will strike today.
They say it’s because corporate and local management have refused to add extra workers during promotional event days. They say for over half a year, workers there have been cut hours and lost benefits, including insurance and scholarships.
The strike will last all day. The Page and Ball Starbucks unionized in August.
