Shots fired after a Ladue woman interrupts suspects rifling through cars


LADUE, Mo. – Multiple shots were fired on a Ladue street at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday. The shots were fired in the 10,000 block of Springwood Drive. Multiple shell casings were found in the street.

Police say that a woman interrupted several people rifling through a vehicle in her driveway. The suspects fled and fired shots while driving away.

There are no reports of injuries or property damage. Investigators are looking for surveillance videos that may help them identify the suspects.

A woman at the scene talked to FOX 2 reporter Jason Maxwell. She has lived on the street since 1967 said nothing like this has happened during her time there.
