ST. CHARLES COUNTY — In St. Charles County, the police department has announced plans to deploy license plate reader cameras on public roadways. This technology is designed to identify license plate numbers and aid in locating vehicles connected to felonies and other criminal activities.
The installation of these cameras will take place at 43 different locations throughout the county. The cameras are to help law enforcement’s ability to track and catch suspects involved in criminal acts.
