UFCW beginning Missouri campaign as union interest grows interest among cannabis workers

ST. LOUIS – There will soon be a campaign for cannabis workers sparking up across Missouri.

The ‘United Food and Commercial Workers Union’ announced the initiative. UFCW Local 655 is the first union in the Show Me State to successfully organize cannabis workers.

The union is seeing interest among workers grow after winning a six-figure settlement with ‘Shangri-La Dispensary’ in Columbia over unfair labor practices.
