WILDWOOD, Mo. – The city of Wildwood breaks ground Tuesday on a new high-speed internet project. Officials are working with Spectrum on the fiber-based system at a building on Allenton Forest Road.

The $6.75 million project will help more than 2,000 homes and businesses underserved by internet access. Wildwood completed a five-year strategic plan last year.

Internet access was identified as the number one priority.
