ST. LOUIS – Accident reconstruction teams are investigating after a 52-year-old woman was hit and killed just before midnight Tuesday in north St. Louis.

Police said the incident happened when Bridgette Martin was walking across North Tucker Boulevard at O’Fallon Street from east to west diagonally across the intersection. She was then hit by a 2006 Chevy Silverado. The driver remained at the scene. Martin of Overland, Missouri went to the hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
