Mother makes plea for publics’ help to find her son’s killer

(KTVI) - St. Louis County police continue to look for the gunman after a man was shot and killed this week.  They are making a plea for those who are responsible for his death to come forward.

The mother of the victim misses her son so much, that she can’t believe something like this has been taken from her.

The family of 26-year-old Marvell Kindle is still trying to come to grips with the tragedy.

Kindel shot and killed Wednesday night around 9 pm in  the 10000 block of Diamond Drive in Riverview.

Kindel’s family is pleading for the public's help to find the person responsible for his death and make them come forward.

Witnesses at the shooting said they heard at least 9 gun shots.

His mother says he was heading the store to buy a few snacks and she was waiting for him to return home for dinner but he never came back.

Marvell had an identical twin and six siblings.  His twin says his brother's death is overwhelming and heart breaking.

The shoot is just four blocks from where rapper and activist Darren Seals was found shot to death in a burning car on Tuesday.  County police continue to investigate both murders. Kindel's family members say the violence must end

The family has set up a go fund me site to help pay for the funeral.

They say Kindel did not have life insurance.

St. Louis County police continue to investigate.
