National Weather Service confirms second Saturday tornado in St. Francois County


PARK HILLS, Mo. – The National Weather Service has confirmed Monday a second tornado occurred Saturday evening.

The tornado caused damage in a small area east of Park Hills Saturday at 9:14 p.m. and only lasted until 9:16 p.m.

It was rated an EF-1 even though the radar signature was not impressive at all.

The tornado’s winds reached 95 mph. There were no injuries.
