ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Generally when you hear the word millennial and drinking you think college parties, craft brews, maybe liquor. However, new research says it’s millennials who are thinking wine.
Surprising new research from the Wine Market Council says Americans ages 21 to 38 drank 159.6 million cases of wine last year.
That’s an average of two cases per person, and 42 percent of all wine made here in the united states in 2015. Of those frequent drinkers under 30, two thirds were women.
