EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) – A new video may explain more about the strange lights seen over the St. Louis Arch on August 2nd. Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park posted a new surveillance video to their Facebook page showing blinking lights rising and falling towards vehicles from 1:30am – 3:00am.
The timestamp on the new video matches previous video released by Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park. In the clip a blinking light is seen rising over the St. Louis skyline. The light eventually holds a steady position over the St. Louis Arch. After some time it moves away from the St. Louis skyline and descends suddenly.
The new video shows several blinking lights over the park. The lights eventually land near vehicles parked in the area. They appear to be coming from downtown St. Louis. Are the people in the vehicles flying drones before dawn? It is hard to tell from the video. You can see lights descending from the sky and vehicles eventually driving off.
An Illinois man also sent this video to FOX 2 News. Chase Rhoads says that he can’t explain what he saw. The independent cleaning consultant was outside the Casino Queen between 2:30am – 3:00am that Tuesday morning when he shot video of something above the Gateway Arch.
