Nixon calls special legislative session to work on Boeing incentives

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KTVI)-Missouri governor Jay Nixon called the legislature into a special session that will start on Monday. Nixon is asking lawmakers to pass legislation to help the state bring production of Boeing’s new commercial aircraft, the 777 X to St. Louis.

The state’s proposal is due by December 10th.

Nixon says the legislation will add up to $150 million a year in tax incentives to the state’s existing economic development programs.
