North St. Louis house damaged in early morning fire

ST. LOUIS -St. Louis firefighters battled an early morning fire at a home in north St. Louis.

The fire broke out on University Street at North 22nd Street around 1:00 a.m. Monday morning.

According to officals, residents home at the time of the fire managed to get out safely.

Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
