WASHINGTON, DC — President Barack Obama is urging calm as a Missouri grand jury weighs whether to indict Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson in the August 9 shooting death of Michael Brown.
“Using any event as an excuse for violence is contrary to the rule of law and contrary to who we are,” the President told ABC News in an interview excerpt broadcast Friday.
