Off-duty officer taken to hospital with ‘medical emergency’

ST. LOUIS– An off-duty officer was rushed to BJC Hospital this morning for what is being called a “medical emergency.”

There are several St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) vehicles and officers outside the entrance of the hospital.

The SLMPD is asking people to keep the officer, and her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers.
