In a news release Tuesday, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police said the department has launched a criminal and internal investigation into a complaint regarding an officer’s “alleged conduct during a response to a non-emergency call.” The alleged incident happened Friday, June 12. The complaint was received Saturday. No other details were released.

Findings of the investigation will be presented to the Circuit Attorney’s Office.
