FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – A woman is in critical condition after slamming head on into a Metro bus Sunday evening. The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m., near the intersection of Pershall Road and Elizabeth Avenue at the Ferguson, Missouri, city line.
According to a Metro supervisor, the driver of a white Pontiac was driving at a high rate of speed westbound on Pershall Road when she lost control of her car and slid head on into a Metro bus making a left turn from Elizabeth Avenue onto Pershall.
The bus pushed the car about 60 feet before coming to a stop.The driver of the bus and 13 of the 14 passengers on board were taken to two local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. One passenger refused treatment. The driver of the car, whose identity has not been released, was critically injured.
