ST. LOUIS – A person was killed during a double shooting Tuesday at about 4:15 p.m. in Velda City.
Police said the shooting happened while the victims were driving along Lucas and Hunt Road near Lincoln Avenue.
Both were taken to the hospital where 21-year-old Jonail Carroll died. The second victim is expected to survive.
The St. Louis County Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is now leading this investigation.
