One injured in large house fire on Giles Avenue

ST. LOUIS – Fire heavily damaged a two-story, four family home in south St. Louis overnight.

The fire started around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on Giles Avenue near Potomac street.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames shooting from the second floor.

One person was taken to the hospital with a leg injury, everyone else got out safely.
