One person dead after north St. Louis house fire


ST. LOUIS – One person has died after an early morning house fire in north St. Louis.

The St. Louis Fire Department responded shortly after 2:30 a.m. to the 3500 block of Paris Avenue near Lexington Avenue after reports of a person trapped after a fire broke out in a two-story building. 

When firefighters arrived to the scene the fire had spread to both floors of the building. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released. 

St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson Unit are looking for the cause of the fire.
