HAZELWOOD, MO (KTVI) -- Hazelwood police were on the scene of a fatal accident for several hours Tuesday morning.  It was the second wreck in just a couple of hours in that area.  The crash shut down McDonnell Boulevard near Fee Fee and Lindbergh.

Around midnight, Hazelwood police arrived on the scene in the 5800 block of Lindbergh, just south of McDonnell.  Police dispatchers say officers found a burning minivan so they called for firefighters to put the blaze out.

The driver was found inside dead.  There is no word on what caused the crash at this time.
