ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – A wild chase on I-70 ends after one of two vehicles crashes. The chase began in Warren County around 6 pm, then entered St. Charles County and ended near St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
Eastbound traffic on I-70 is being diverted off the interstate for police processed the accident scene and hauled off the suspect’s vehicle for forensic examination.
Police say the suspect fired shots randomly at cars on the interstate in Wentzville, which injured three people.
The suspect then rammed a police vehicle, fired shots at officers and tried to carjack a passer-by before being arrested.
An investigation is ongoing.
