Parents voice anger at Hazelwood School Board over proposed budget cuts

NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - Tuesday night the Hazelwood School Board hosted a public hearing about the district finances and proposed budget cuts.  The district is looking close a budget shortfall caused by falling properly values, and high operating cost.

The district has proposed cutting some music programs, reducing P.E, cost of field trips, and staff positions.

As of now the cuts will go into effect for the 2017-2018 school year.
