(KTVI) - Snow and flood damage is causing major changes in the Parkway School District.  The district did decide to cancel classes Thursday, but officials are meeting Thursday morning to talk about flood damage.

The district says a water pipe burst Wednesday at Shanendoah Valley High School, flooding several hallways, bathrooms and classrooms.  Part of a ceiling collapsed from the weight of the water.

Because of the bitter cold temperatures this week, no students or staff were in the building when the pipe exploded.  A clean up crew spend most of Wednesday trying to soak up the flood water, but it's a big project.
