ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Retired pitcher Chris Carpenter is moving up within the Cardinals organization. General Manager John Mozeliak announced that Carp would become part of the front office this January. Now, he’s looking to move out of his mansion in Ladue. According to realtor.com he has listed the home at $3.65 million.
He purchased the 10,800 square foot mansion after signing a contract extension with the Cardinals in 2007. The home is lined in walnut and mahogany flooring and custom mill-work, the open floor plan has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a wood-paneled office.
