ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A St. Louis pizza delivery woman is the latest to be assaulted while just trying to do her job. Authorities say the female driver was attacked by two men with bricks.

The attack happened around 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the 7100 block of Virgina when the driver from Pizza Milano pulled up to a home.  When she went and knocked on the door, no one answered.

Authorities say that’s when the woman started to go to the back of the house and two men attacked her in a gangway.  She started screaming and the suspects ran away.  The 30-year-old woman went back to Pizza Milano and called police.

Police say the suspects didn’t take anything from her but she did suffer a broken nose and tissue damage. She was listed in stable condition Friday morning.

Police say less than a week ago, another pizza delivery person was robbed at the same address. Police say the home is vacant.

The suspects are described as two black males between 16 and 18 years old.
